This two-hour small group workshop aims to improve students' ability to analyze the argumentative essay presented on the optional SAT writing section. We will discuss and perfect the skills required of an exceptional rhetorical analysis essay: adherence to the five-paragraph essay format, comprehension of the source text, identification and thorough analysis of rhetorical tools, and sophisticated use of language.
